Java Programming – Course designed to provide programming skills from basics for school kids.

Eligibility

Students from Grade 6 and up.
Interest to learn a programming language from basics
Interested to develop computer applications.

Course Description

At the age of middle school, students build a foundation in programming using Java. Kids will learn variables, data types, collections, loops, conditional logic, and functions, etc., and create a passion for programming. The fundamental programming skills learned in this course can be applied in any programming languages and solve real world problems. After completing this course, kids will be ready to take up Computer Science school curriculum course.

Objectives

When students completes Java Programming course, they can:

Build programs using fundamental programming concepts variables, datatypes, String, etc.
Learn advanced programming concepts like collections, exception handling, file handling, database connectivity etc.
Develop interactive GUI programs
Exposure to Real world projects
Work with team in developing and delivering the project.

Class Details

Class – One per per week – This will make sure students can manage along with school
Classes are virtual – Using Google Meet. Link will be shared after registration
Homework will be given every week using Google classroom
